As early as our second year as a company, we dreamed of developing a particularly lightweight version of our classic hejhej-mat. So the idea had been around for a long time. But it took years of testing, prototypes, and optimization before it could become a reality. Plus, launching a completely new product is a major investment. And for a long time, that simply wasn't possible for us.
We are all the prouder to finally be able to say: Our TRAVEL hejhej-mat is here.

The TRAVEL hejhej-mat is designed to accompany you everywhere. It weighs just 880 grams and is only 2 millimeters thin. Simply roll it up, pack it in your backpack or suitcase, and take it with you, whether to your favorite studio, on a trip, or to your next adventure.
Born from a desire we know all too well ourselves
We know the feeling: everything you need for the day is already in your backpack, including your yoga clothes for the evening class. And because there's simply nothing better than practicing on your own mat, that naturally comes along too.
We also know the desire to take your own yoga mat with you when you travel. We've done it ourselves so many times, and each time the mat is that one extra, bulky piece of luggage that also has to be taken along. On many of these trips, we wished for a lighter hejhej-mat. And now we are thrilled to finally be able to share it with you.

With the same generous size of 186 × 65 cm, it offers you just as much space and stability as you've come to expect from us. What we also love: it's perfect as a hygienic, ultra-thin overlay for studio mats. So you always practice on your own surface, even when you're on the go.
Just as sustainable.
Like all our mats, the TRAVEL hejhej-mat is made from recycled foam scraps and is fully recyclable. At the end of its life, it can be turned into a new hejhej-mat or a yoga block. This way, valuable materials remain in circulation. And for every TRAVEL hejhej-mat sold, we donate one euro to the Earthchild Project.
We produced the mats ourselves during our last production run.
They were then carefully finished by our wonderful partner workshop for people with disabilities: Our hemp label is sewn onto each mat there, and the cotton carrying strap, which is included free of charge, is added. This keeps your mat nicely rolled up and ready to go at any time.
