Use of hemp material

• There are hardly any blankets with hemp content, but that was particularly important to us
• Hemp is more sustainable to cultivate than cotton, as it requires significantly less water and almost no pesticides
• The hemp plant is generally more robust and can be grown almost anywhere. It usually thrives in moderate climates where there is sufficient rainfall and therefore no artificial irrigation is needed

• The foundation is committed to preserving biodiversity and natural habitats in our close surroundings in Franconia, for example by planting trees and hedges or sowing wildflower meadows

• We take responsibility for the end of your closed-loop hejhej-blanket's life cycle and take care of the recycling
• Once your blanket has reached the end of its product life cycle, you can free of charge return it to us
• The blanket is recycled by our partner, so the materials can be reused

• The blanket is washable at 30°C. We recommend using a gentle or wool cycle, or hand washing, to prolong the product’s lifespan. Please use liquid wool or delicate detergent and do not use fabric softener. Ideally, use a laundry bag to protect the blanket even better.
• The blanket can also be ideally aired out outdoors to avoid washing
• After washing, use the spin cycle for wool or delicate items. Tumble drying at a low temperature is recommended
• Do not bleach or iron
