• €1 per hejhej-mat goes to the NGO EarthChild Project. It gives children in the townships of Cape Town access to yoga and environmental studies.

• Production 100% in Germany.
• CO2 neutral production: The production hall is equipped with solar modules, which are used to operate the machines.
• Per hejhej-mat approx.1.5 kg of foam offcuts are upcycled. Thanks to the closed product cycle, these resources are recycled again and again into yoga mats and yoga blocks.
• The logo on the hejhej-mat is made from biodegradable hemp.

We take responsibility:

• Once your recycled yoga mat has reached the end of the product life cycle, you can send it back to us free of charge
• For the recycling process, it is disassembled into its individual components and thus forms the raw material for new hejhej-mats and hejhej blocks.
• This gives the materials a new product life and you get a 15% discount code for your next closed-loop purchase.

The hejhej-mats yoga mat is particularly sustainable and designed for longevity. To maintain the outstanding quality, please follow our care instructions:

• Use a slightly damp cloth to clean your hejhej-mat
• You can also use the hejhej spray to clean the yoga mat. To do this, apply 1 to 2 pumps to your hejhej-mat and wipe with a dry cloth. It can also be used as a room spray before or after yoga practice.
• Not machine washable, please do not shower completely.
• Avoid direct sunlight on the light hejhej-mat. We avoid chemical sunscreen because it is better for the environment and healthier for us as humans. Therefore, store your hejhej-mat in a place protected from light, for example in your hejhej bag, to avoid color changes. Note: Color changes have no effect on the functionality, longevity and quality of the hejhej-mat.
